Context
Common procedures to provide continuous Radon measurement and discrimination of Thoron simultaneously using the same instrument were generally based on alpha spectroscopic measurements.
A new measuring mode, based on a more simple and more efficient concept, was implemented in the latest model AlphaGUARD DF2000. It allows the separate determination of Radon (Rn222) and Thoron (Rn220) under continuous measurement.
