The detection range depends on the lens. Three lenses are available on the camera:
– Narrow field of view (12°x9°) long range up to 5 km
– Intermediate field of view (30°x24°) medium range up to 2 Km
– Large field of view (60°x48°) short range up to 500 m
Performances are better with favorable climatic conditions and relatively strong gas concentrations. The minimum detecting distance is 2 to 3 meters.
