Driver Vision Enhancer (DVE) with PeriSight Drive
With PeriSight Drive at the core of the system, complemented by CamSight thermal camera modules, Bertin Winlight offers an integrated vision solution for safe and effective navigation of military vehicles.
In modern military operations, driver visibility is a critical factor for crew safety and mission effectiveness. Driver Vision Enhancement (DVE) systems enable military vehicles to operate safely in low-visibility conditions: total darkness, fog, smoke or dust. By combining thermal imaging and visible-light vision, these solutions provide a clear and immediate perception of the environment, day and night, at high speed or during slow maneuvers.
Forward and rear-facing, DVE sensors cover the critical angles for navigation and obstacle avoidance, while integrating compactly and efficiently into the architecture of armored vehicles. Compact, lightweight and low-power, they meet the strictest requirements of modern military platforms.
To address these demands, Bertin Winlight offers PeriSight Drive, a complete solution embedding CamSight technology to provide drivers with high-performance vision in all circumstances.

PeriSight Drive is an enhanced driver vision solution, operational 24/7, integrating CamSight passive thermal imaging technology to enable drivers to operate in any condition, including darkness, smoke or fog. With a 95° front and/or rear field of view, it improves maneuverability and crew safety on all vehicle types, without major structural modification. Scalable by design, PeriSight Drive can be upgraded at any time to a full situational awareness solution with PeriSight 360.

CamSight offers LWIR thermal camera modules with a low SWaP footprint (Size, Weight and Power), delivering high-quality thermal imaging in real time and with no latency. Based on uncooled technology, their embedded algorithms continuously enhance image quality to ensure sharp vision in all conditions. Compatible with HD-SDI and PAL video interfaces, CamSight modules integrate seamlessly into any optronic system.
Together, these two solutions form an integrated vision system, designed to enhance crew safety and reactivity in the most demanding operational environments.
