Calibration laboratories play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of instruments used to measure ionizing radiation and the safety of workers. Our instruments are used for checking the performance of survey meters, area monitors, dosimeters, contamination monitors, and other radiation detection devices used in nuclear power plants, research centers, and medical institutions.

Bertin VF Nuclear’s calibration laboratories include gamma, beta, and neutron irradiators; calibration benches; and control software. Our systems generate uniform and consistent radiation fields, allowing for precise, reproducible testing, calibration, and verification that meet international standards and regulations.

With automated procedures and centralized data archiving, our calibration laboratories provide a comprehensive and reliable solution for the operation of primary and secondary standard dosimetric laboratories, including the accredited ones according to the ISO 17025 standard.
