Neuroscience
Neurodegenerative diseases are among public health main concerns as they are becoming increasingly prevalent. They are well known and widespread, like Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease or Prion linked diseases.
Neuroscience is the domain that studies neuron functions in the brain and linked disorders. Aside from the well-known diseases, for which there is still a real need of new and effective therapeutics, there is also a need of better understanding the disease progression (not to forget early detection).
Bertin Bioregeant has been working with the pioneering team for Prions, and is now offering tools in the field of psychopharmacology. These disorders are closely connected in some ways with metabolic diseases through the neuro-endocrine pathway, or neuropathic pain.
