Which gases are detectable by Second Sight® MS / TC?

All gas having an absorption in the LW Infrared band are detectable by Second Sight®. Second Sight® is for example adapted for detecting military gases (Vesicants, Suffocates, Neurotoxins), Toxic Industrial Chemicals (Butane, LPG, LNG, Ammonia, Hydrogen cyanide etc..). Detection with Second Sight® is possible even if the gases are impure or mixed. The GAS X functionality also allows detecting a mixture of gases even though the gases are not present in the systems data base.

The abbreviation LWIR (Long Wave Infra-Red) defines the usable Wave Lengths, it is from 8 to 14 µm.
