Hardened optical subsystems
Bertin Photonics has in-house design and production capabilities for hardened optics and optical subsystems to fulfil the most demanding observation or targeting systems’ requirements.
Bertin Photonics provides hardened lenses and optical subsystems, covering the Visible, Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR), the Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) and the Long-Wave Infrared bandwidths. In compliance with customer specifications, Bertin produces ITAR-free optics for the main players of the Defense sector, thus guaranteeing system quality in-house. Bertin Photonics is involved in the entire development process of the optics, from design to qualification and serial production. The equipment is also assembled, inspected and tested by Bertin’s in-house teams, in our state-of-the-art facilities.
