The GammaTRACER is designed for continuous measuring, recording and optionally transmitting the environmental gamma dose rate.

The GammaTRACER XL2 is an autonomous gamma dose rate probe specifically, specially designed for the demanding needs of environmental radiological monitoring, both in routine situations and in nuclear emergencies.

This probe has been deployed across several strategic applications. It is used, among other things, for nationwide monitoring, particularly as part of wide-area monitoring networks, where a network of probes tracks ambient radiation levels over large geographic zones. It is also integrated into perimeter monitoring systems around nuclear facilities, providing early detection of radiological anomalies. In industrial facilities, it enables the radiological control of sensitive sites, contributing to both worker safety and regulatory compliance. During crisis situations, the GammaTRACER XL2 is the tool of choice for radiological emergency systems, thanks to its rapid deployment.

Fully sealed and resistant to harsh environmental conditions, the GammaTRACER XL2 operates independently of fixed infrastructure, thanks to its battery power supply and internal memory. It enables continuous measurement, recording and transmission of gamma dose rate, with a measurement cycle that can be adjusted according to operational needs.

The programming and reading of data can be carried out locally via infrared, Bluetooth, or a cable interface, ensuring quick deployment on site. The GammaTRACER XL2 can be easily and reliably integrated into monitoring networks with different radio modules (e.g., via ShortLINK LORA, GSM/GPRS/2G/3G/4G/LTE, satellite, or GPS modules). Its redundant communication system guarantees uninterrupted monitoring, even in the event of a power failure.

Autonomous system:

GammaTRACER is an autonomous and hermetically sealed gamma dose rate probe for stationary and mobile use with up to 10 years of battery life. Autonomy can be unlimited through the use of the internal solar panel (with a 10-minute measurement cycle) or an external solar panel (even with a 1-minute measurement cycle). UHF, GSM/2G/3G/4G/LTE, radio or satellite, and GPS modules can be integrated for data transmission. It is designed for continuously measuring (with adjustable cycle times), recording and transmitting the environmental gamma dose rate to a base station.

All GammaTRACER types feature an automatic quality assurance (QA) system that checks the counting tubes for signs of aging and HV consumption, among other things.

Thanks to its integrated 360° solar panel (or the external solar panel), the GammaTRACERXL2 can work completely autonomously, even in locations with low solar indexes or cloudy skies. The large size of the internal panel ensures reliable data transmission, with a transmission cycle of less than 10 minutes. Thanks to its extremely low power consumption, the high-reliability internal battery can operate for more than 2 months, even in the event of a total power failure.

DataEXPERT10, a professional user-friendly database, communication, and data analysis software, guarantees both simple and safe access to the stored data as well as its powerful visualization, and fast and precise analysis. Instrument data can be accessed and visualized via any standard browser.
