FusionSight is a lightweight monocular that provides separate or combined thermal and color low light level images for day and night vision applications, civilian or military. Designed to meet the needs of infantry squads and special forces, this compact, intuitive day and night vision device excels in the field, by revealing hidden or camouflaged enemies.
Enhancing threat and target detection capabilities, by day and night, FusionSight is also a key reference for search and rescue, long-term surveillance missions, for police and civil security forces. Designed with the needs of military personnel in mind, the FusionSight day and night vision enhancer provides users with invaluable visual support, even in limited visibility conditions. Fully digital, FusionSight allows images to be recorded and transmitted in real time via multiple interfaces, for extended operations.

FusionSight is the very first digital day/night vision device to provide intelligent fusion capability to detect threats and targets in all operational conditions.
FusionSight, the day/night vision monocular, provides visible (color) and thermal image fusion capability. A first image is provided by a visible imaging sensor (SXGA) in low light conditions, without additional lighting. A second image is then provided by a thermal imaging sensor (VGA), that is capable of detecting threats and targets in all conditions (up to night 5).
Embedded image processing automatically selects key information from each sensor to provide users with enhanced day/night vision and delivers these images in digital format. The FusionSight technology is the result of advanced research in pixel-by-pixel frequency analysis algorithms that select a mix of pixels from both sensors, to provide the best information from both worlds – visible and infrared.

FusionSight is the industry’s first handheld device that features smart colour fusion of images. The first image is recorded by a state-of-the-art colour imaging sensor (powered by PHOTONIS) that provides a color image in extreme low light conditions (~10 mlx) without additional illumination.
The second image is recorded by a high-resolution thermal imaging sensor that can detect under all night conditions (up to night 5). The embedded real-time image processor automatically selects key information from each sensor, allowing users to see in the dark at night even better than in broad daylight, and to record and save images as digital files.
The smart digital fusion also overcomes the traditional limitations of each individual sensor: FusionSight can detect through smoke, other obscurants and in deep night conditions with a thermal sensor, while providing an optical color low light image that detects through windows with sufficient resolution for positive identification thanks to the color imaging sensor.
