Context

Military and civilian populations could be exposed to highly hazardous Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) agents. Early and rapid threat identification allows taking effective actions for the implementation of operational responses and medical cou ntermeasures to limit consequences.
Bertin Technologies, in partnership with the CEA, has developed a simple, reliable and rapid method for the simultaneous detection of the three pathogens Bacillus anthracis, Yersinia Pestis,
Francisella tularensis in air, water, and biological samples.
Biotoxis qPCR detection kit uses the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to amplify unique microorganism-specific DNA target sequen ces and TaqMan® probes to detect the amplified sequences.
