Because of their activities, some industrial and civil sites are sensitive, such as airports, where there are a lot of people, or sites where hazardous materials are stored or manufactured, like nuclear power plants or chemical plants.
Increasing terrorist threats over these sites have made the authorities strengthen their surveillance. In light of these new needs, FusionSight was assessed by a Homeland Security special unit securing airstrips and preventing any trespassing at Orly airport.
