Project manager

"I joined Bertin in 2011 for my final year internship and was lucky enough to be hired as a Biological Engineer on bio-defense projects. In 2015, I started project management and for 2 years I worked in tandem with an experienced Project Manager as Technical Manager on the development of 2 new Bio-collectors. And in 2017, I was able to independently manage my 1st project! Since 2022, I've been mainly in charge of the project on the production of biological detection kits (qPCR) for the 2024 Olympics. I also supervise projects and take part in drawing up commercial offers."

"I joined Bertin in 2001 as a graduate trainee. I had the opportunity to stay on as a design engineer (image processing, optronics). In 2004 I became Project Manager and Technical Manager on certain projects, then Senior Project Manager before becoming Head of Intelligence and Surveillance in 2011. In 2014, I became Operational Manager of the “Instrumentation Products” division before becoming Deputy R&D Director. Today I'm Managing Director of the DSSI Business Line, and during my career I've been involved in several patents, notably on the Camsight and Coriolis."

Production Manager

"I started out as a Calculations Engineer in the Sterilwave Projects Department, calculating mechanical structures. At the same time, I worked on other projects, notably nuclear projects (ITER). I then wanted to move into design to get back to my initial training, and in 2019 I was offered the chance to join the Sterilwave team as a Design and Production Monitoring Engineer. It was a job with lots of contacts and versatility, and that's what I was looking for. Since 2021, I've been in charge of all production, and since 2022 I've been based at the Dieppe site. In addition to my duties, I have operational responsibility for the site (safety, building, etc.)."

Philippe M.

Head of Mechanical Engineering

I joined Bertin & Cie in 1988 as a design engineer in the structural dynamics division in the Paris region. Alongside this role, I became a junior project manager in the space sector under the supervision of experienced engineers before moving to the Aix office and taking charge of the mechanical engineering department, which I ran on my own at the time! The department now has around 20 employees. With the creation of the expertise division in 2010, I was appointed Design Expert for mechanical and optomechanical systems. In this role, I put my expertise at the service of project managers who regularly call on me.
