From May 7th to 18th, Bertin Instruments took part in the 4th edition of the S/K Challenge, a test campaign organized by the US Army at Dugway Proving Ground (Utah) to test biological and chemical detection technologies under controlled conditions representative of the environment.

On this occasion, a new biological detection chain developed by Bertin Technologies and composed of biocollectors and a genetic analysis system was evaluated in the presence of the representatives of the forces, the DGA and international observers. Its ability to detect biological agents was the main element under observation. Very good results have been obtained: the detection chain is easy to deploy, to implement and a detection rate of 100% was obtained.
