On June 18th, at VivaTech, Bertin Technologies and CNRS officially signed a five-year national framework agreement. This is a historic milestone that cements Bertin Technologies’ position as a strategic industrial partner of French public research, and opens an ambitious new phase of collaboration between the two institutions.

For over ten years, Bertin Technologies has established itself as an essential partner for major French research laboratories, working alongside leading teams in highly demanding fields: astronomy, photonics, precision optics, space, and scientific instrumentation. This relationship is built on a proven complementarity: Bertin brings its industrial capabilities and mastery of critical markets, while CNRS contributes its scientific expertise and research infrastructure.

“The goal for Bertin Technologies is to safeguard the already fruitful collaboration in the field of photonics, and to extend it to other areas that are essential for Bertin Technologies. These new topics include new technologies for measuring ionizing radiation for the protection of people, infrastructure, and the environment; analytical biology techniques dedicated to the collection, preparation, and analysis of samples; as well as fundamental sciences such as mathematics, signal processing, and artificial intelligence to develop new information processing algorithms in the field of physical measurement.” says Eric Compain, Scientific Director of the Bertin Technologies Group.
